NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council proposes to make an order closing:
Woodquay (L-5150) outbound lane: From Dalys Place (L-5119) to a point approximately 29m southeast of its intersection with the Headford Road (R-866).
Period of Closure: 24/7 Friday 27th June 2025 to Monday 1st September 2025.
Reason: Outdoor Living Enhancement Scheme.
Diversion Routes: Temporary diversion route will be in place via Saint Francis Street, turning right on to Saint Vincents Avenue continuing along to the (L-5150) Woodquay.
Localised access including maintenance of routing for non-motorised vehicles via Saint Francis Street and court lane will be maintained at all times.
Advance diversion signage will be in place prior to work commencing.
Documents can be inspected at Reception, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway, H91 X4K8, during normal office hours, from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Mr Patrick Greene, Director of Services, Galway City Council, at the above address, or by email to: roads@galwaycity.ie not later than 12 noon on Thursday 12th June 2025.
