NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council proposes to make an order closing:
Castlegar Road L-5040: From the junction of Headford Road N-84 to the junction of Tuam Road N-83. Castlegar Road L-5040:
Period of Closure: From 8.30am to 5.00pm, Tuesday 1st July 2025 to Friday 25th July 2025.
Reason: To facilitate planing and resurfacing works.
Diversion Routes: Temporary diversion routes will be in place via Headford Road, Bothar an Choiste and Ballindooley- Cloonacauneen.
Advance diversion signage will be in place prior to work commencing.
Documents can be inspected at Reception, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway, H91 X4K8, during office hours, from 9.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Mr Patrick Greene, Director of Services, Galway City Council, at above address, or by email to: roads@galwaycity.ie not later than 12 noon on Thursday 19th June 2025.
