Galway City (St Patrick’s Day Parade): From University Road, Canal Road Upper, Gaol Road, Salmon Weir Bridge, St. Vincent’s Avenue, Francis Street, Eglinton Street, Woodquay, Headford Road, Dyke Road up to Black Box car park entrance, Saint Brendan’s Avenue, Eyre Street, Bothar Irwin, Bothar na mBan , Williamsgate Street, Eyre Square North, Eyre Square East, Merchants Road onto Eyre Square South, Newtownsmith, Mary Street, O’Brien’s Bridge, Lombard Street, Bowling Green, Market Street, Abbeygate Street.
Period of Closure: From 11.00AM to 2.00PM on Tuesday 17th March 2026.
Reason: St Patrick’s Day Parade.
Localised access and access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained.
Advance signage will be in place prior to the event.
