NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council has made an order closing:
St. Anthony’s Place: From St. Francis Street to Woodquay.
Period of Closure: 24/7 from Monday 6th July to Wednesday 8th July 2026.
Reason: Urgent upgrade of Water Infrastructure.
Diversion Routes: Diversion routes will be via St. Francis Street & Corrib Terrace.
Localised access will be maintained as permitted within the limitations of those within the existing pedestrianised zone.
Advance diversion signage will be in place prior to work commencing.
