Lenaboy Park: From Lenaboy Park entrance gate to outside No. 27 Lenaboy Park
Period of Closure: Tuesday 4th August to Friday 14th August 2026 from 09:30am to 16:30pm
Reason: Urgent upgrade of Water Infrastructure.
Diversion Routes: This is a local road closure. No diversion route is available.
Localised access will be maintained.
Advance signage will be in place prior to work commencing.
Documents can be inspected at Reception, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway, H91 X4K8, during office hours, from 9.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Mr Patrick Greene, Director of Services, Galway City Council, at above address, or by email to: roads@galwaycity.ie not later than 12.00pm Thursday 23rd July 2026.
