NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council has made an order closing:
Queen Street: From Victoria Hotel to the Junction of Forthill Street and Queen Street.
Period of Closure: From 8.00pm on 9th February to 4.00am on 10th February 2026.
Reason: To set up tower crane.
Diversion Routes: Diversion for traffic towards Queen Street will be outside Ceannt Railway Station via Eyre Square East, Prospect Hill, Bóthar Uí Eithir, Fairgreen Road, Lough Atalia Road, Bóthar na Long, Dock Road, New Dock Street & Merchants Road. Right turn from Merchants Road to Queen Street will be closed with diversion via Forthill Street.
