Galway City Council today announced the appointment of three new Urban and Community Development Officers to give targeted support to community and voluntary groups in the City. These pioneering roles will support the growth and empowerment of local communities, working closely with residents, community groups and other stakeholders to implement community development initiatives and enhance community cohesion.

Highfield Park (Estate): From the Junction of the L-1001-0 & L-10011-0 (entrance to Highfield Park) including Rockmount Road for 900m within Highfield Park Estate. Route follows Oakley Crescent, Cedarwood Close, Ashdale Road, Sycamore Drive, Ardmore Road & Avondale Road.
Galway City Council Architectural Conservation in partnership with the National Built Heritage Service, will host a FREE traditional building skills training day at Fahy’s Farm, Ballindooley on 19 July 2025.
