Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr Mike Cubbard led out the celebrations in honour of Anne Quinn, who recently celebrated fifty years of service as a school warden for Galway City Council.
Anne, who is the longest-serving School Warden, is based in east Galway City, guiding our most vulnerable road users on their journey for generations.
Anne was joined by friends, family and colleagues for a celebration in honour of this milestone of service in City Hall, on Thursday 26 February 2026.
