Small Crane (L-5111): From New Street West (L-5112) to William Street West (L-5113).
Period of Closure: 24/7, Friday 1st May 2026 to Wednesday 30th September 2026
Reason: Provision of space for outdoor dining, festivals, and events.
Localised access and access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Advance diversion signage will be in place prior to work commencing.
Documents can be inspected at Reception, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway, H91 X4K8, during office hours, from 9.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Mr Patrick Greene, Director of Services, Galway City Council, at above address, or by email to: roads@galwaycity.ie not later than 12.00PM on Thursday 19th March 2026.
