NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council proposes to make an order closing:
Raven Terrace: From the Junctions at Dominick Street Lower to the corner of Gourmet Tart.
Period of Closure: From 08.00AM to 06.00PM on Monday 14th September to Friday 18th September 2026.
Reason: Site investigation for flood relief system.
Diversion Routes: Diversion route will be via Fairhill Road Upper
Localised access will be maintained as permitted within the limitations of those within the existing pedestrianised zone.
Access will be maintained for Emergency Vehicles.
Advance diversion signage will be in place prior to work commencing.
Documents can be inspected at Reception, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway, H91 X4K8, during office hours, from 9.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Mr Patrick Greene, Director of Services, Galway City Council, at above address, or by email to: roads@galwaycity.ie not later than 12.00pm on Thursday 3rd September.
