  • You can gain access to education when you gain access to employment. When you receive your Labour Market Access Permission. (Work permit)
  • From gaining your Labour Market Access Permission you can access courses through Colleges of Further Education
  • Galway Roscommon Education Training Board – GRETB in general will require a work permit for most courses; however, applications for GRETB courses made without a Work Permit may be considered on a bespoke basis. To search for courses please see - FETCH Courses 
  • Level 5 and Level 6 PLC courses, provided by Colleges of Further Education; many colleges are waiving tuition fees for these courses and are only charging an administration, so it is worth checking if there is a particular course in a college that you are interested in attending - Further Education and Training (FET) | Irish Refugee Council .
  • To enrol in a bachelor’s degree in a university, you will need to apply through the CAO . Their website has lots of information about the different ways you can apply.
  • Qualifax offers an excellent database for searching for all types of courses available around Ireland and FETCH provides a similar database specifically for courses provided by colleges of further education.
