Highfield Park (Estate): From the Junction of the L-1001-0 & L-10011-0 (entrance to Highfield Park) including Rockmount Road for 900m within Highfield Park Estate. Route follows Oakley Crescent, Cedarwood Close, Ashdale Road, Sycamore Drive, Ardmore Road & Avondale Road.

The call for submissions to the 2025 National Age Friendly Recognition and Achievement awards is now live and the closing date is 30th May 2025.

We are excited to confirm that Galway City Council and Galway County Council are jointly hosting this year’s event in The Galmont Hotel, Galway, on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, and therefore we are especially keen to have high-quality initiatives from Galway City and County entered in the Awards this year.
